User: Hi Mobirise,
Firstly, great product – been using it for about a month now and it’s super awesome!! I learned easily how to build a website! Thank you!
Then a question on “forms”….. Do I need to do any other database work once my site if life or not?
Also, I have a subscribe button that doesn’t seem to work do I need any extra coding on that or how does that work?
Thanks so much
Mobirise team: Hi,
The forms are run on Formoid servers, so you don't have to create any backend and databases.
You can also use the Code Editor extension to add external code in case you want to manage the contact and subscription forms manually.
User: how can i make the block have less blank space to each side ?
i think have a header block which i have added a bold title and some text to
however there i a huge amount of space either side of the text which i would like to reduce - how can i do this ?
it would be great if you introduced aliders like you have for top & bottom spacing
Mobirise team: Such a feature is not supported.
You can try to implement it through a manual code editing of the locally published site files but we can't guarantee that it will work.
Sorry, but we don't provide support about custom coding.
i have a website that i built via your platform and its really been great so far.
yesterday though i tried publishing some changes i made but it doesnt seem to be working.
i have tried multiple browsers, i have deleted cache memory but the new version isnt shown.
thank you in advance for your help
Mobirise team: Try to re-upload your website on the hosting and make sure that you didn't miss some of the site files in a process of uploading.
Please check your FTP data, also you can try to publish your site with the unchecked option Publish changes only.
Try to publish your site to a local folder, and upload it to your hosting using FileZilla, check if you have issues with it.
Could you please make sure that Mobirise is able to connect to the Internet directly. Your proxy/antivirus/firewall may prevent it.
Also please try to log out and log in again into the Mobirise app (open the Account tab to find the Logout button).
User: Thanks for your help with this great product.
1. Jsut and FYI, when prompted to upgrade the software, you're sent to the regular Mobirise page, with no easy instructions on how to download the new version.
2. I have a Form on my webpage, and get tons of Spam. Are you able to add a question before a Form is submitted, like 'what is 1 + 2'? This can stop many bots from spamming via Forms.
Mobirise team: We'll provide your suggestion to our developers.
Thank you for your feedback! It can help us make Mobirise better, so don't hesitate to share your ideas with us - any feedback is always appreciated.
User: hello again, i checked the problem on second computer, it doesnt work either.
publishing on ftp or even locally is susoending on "preparing". please help as i cannot work for my clients with updating the websites. pleasseeeee ;)
Mobirise team: Hi,
Try to re-add the favicon image to your project, if it won't help then turn off the Lazy load.
Another workaround we recommend you to try:
1 - if you published the site earlier - download its files to some folder on your PC as a backup, then remove the site from the hosting
2 - open the project of this site in Mobirise, add the problem blocks to user blocks (as a backup, too) and remove it then
3 - start a new project with the same theme, build the same block with product cards there, add all links ("add to cart" or "buy now"), in a preview mode they should functioning ok
4 - transfer this re-created block to the required project with a User block feature
5 - upload site to the hosting and check the results
Notice, please - AMP themes aren't compatible with Bootstrap themes.
Bootstrap 4 themes won't work with Bootstrap 3 themes as well.
